Search Engine Optimisation

Mostly result pages are not explicitly classified. There are text ads (Sponsored Links), results from product search engines, accentuated links of content partners and organic search results from the search databases of the three big search services Baidu, Google, and Yahoo. Most search engines and organic search databases base upon these service providers. Baidu in China attends almost 74,5 % of all searching people.

Because sponsored links of content partners often cost a lot of money and only get through to a fifth of all searching people, search engine optimisation is an obligation, if you want to be found in search engines and if you distribute goods via the internet.

Since the search databases of Baidu, Google, and Yahoo want to present relevant search results on the first result pages, a website primarily has to offer relevant content regarding the desired subject.

For that purpose it is not only important that the desired terms and subjects are detectable on the site, which has to be positioned, but also whether other websites and persons consider the content relevant.

The goal of search engine optimisation is thus not only to make your website capable for search engines but also to make it relevant and searchable.
