Bloggers from more than 20 countries and regions in Asia gathered in Hong Kong to attend Asia’s first blogger event - BlogFest. Asia on Friday November 6^th, 2009.

Metapeople was honoured to have participated in the series of event involving hundreds of professional bloggers from various Asian communities. It was profoundly beneficial and interesting to be able to learn about the unique experience of many bloggers in their perspective regions, as well as interacting with key bloggers in Philippine, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar, Taiwan, China and in particular our local Hong Kong Bloggers.

As a significant component of Web2.0, blogging is set to become an integral part of brand management, with its increasing popularity and versatility. The event was nevertheless insightful over how blogging and other forms of social media are causing a huge impact on how information may reach their recipients.
